After training as a surgeon, focusing on gastrointestinal diseases, he joined the Department of Surgery at Hiroshima Memorial Hospital in 2019.In 2020, he established the “Outpatient Defecation Function Clinic” at Hiroshima Memorial Hospital. In order to provide not only surgical treatment for colorectal diseases but also medical care to improve the quality of life, he focuses on the treatment of defecation disorders such as constipation, fecal incontinence, postoperative defecation disorders, and colostomy care.

Born in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture. Graduated from the University of Tsukuba, Faculty of Art and Design, and completed a master’s degree in information design at Tama Art University. In 2008, he founded Jump Start Inc. (now Medical Design Workshop Inc.) and became its representative director. As a creative director, he is involved in a wide range of planning and design. After relocating his office to Kamakura, he launched Kamakon Valley (now Kamakon) and participated in community revitalization projects in Kamakura as a designer. He was a talk show personality on Shonan Beach FM for two years, established Japan Medical Design Center as a general incorporated association in 2018 and became its president, and published “Iidehon – An Introductory Practical Book of Medical Design” in December 2023. He is currently developing more than 30 projects of creative work under the theme of “Medical Design” at any given time.
