Osaka/Kansai Expo 2025 Challenge!

Designing a future society where life shines through diapers

6/24 (Mon) 20:00-21:30 @ ZOOM

ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー

When you are in need of nursing care,
Do you want to wear your current diapers?

If the answer is “no”
To protect your future dignity
Please read this email to the end.

I, Kuwabata, was invited to an online event at the end of last year
Mr. Kage Hirabayashi, who calls himself “the fashionable leader of the welfare industry,” said to me at an online event at the end of last year

“I don’t want to wear diapers now.

I don’t want to wear the current diapers.
That was the beginning.

I had always thought of adult diapers as something my parents might wear in the future,
I had thought of adult diapers as something my parents might wear in the future, but
I have thought about adult diapers as something that my parents might wear in the future, but not myself in my 40s!
I had thought of adult diapers as something that my parents might wear in the future, but I had never thought of wearing them myself in my 40s! I had never thought about it.
I had never thought about it.

This was the moment when diapers became “personalized”.

Have you ever thought about diapers as something you will wear in the future?
Have you ever thought about diapers as something you will wear in the future?

Then, I was impressed by what Kage Hirabayashi said afterwards.

So you design your own diapers that you want to wear.”

Not only questioning the status quo, but also working to solve the problems,
She not only questions the status quo, but also works on her own to solve the problems.

He is truly an innovator.
He is a mirror of a designer.

Don’t stop at criticism.
but to actually take action to create something
It is really precious.

If we don’t have it, let’s make it ourselves!
We at Nippon Medical Design Center
We, Nippon Medical Design Center, value this attitude.
We at Nippon Medical Design Center value this attitude.

On the other hand, however
Japanese diaper makers are proud of their high quality and
and technological innovations that we should be proud of.

Japanese diapers are superior in softness, absorbency and breathability, and
They are gentle on the user’s skin and comfortable to use.
Japanese diapers are made with strict quality control and research and development by each manufacturer,
Each manufacturer is constantly evolving and introducing new technologies through rigorous quality control and research and development.

Japanese adult diaper manufacturers are also environmentally conscious.
Many manufacturers use renewable resources,
recycling and waste reduction.

In addition, Japanese adult diapers are highly regarded both domestically and internationally,
They are imported by many countries.
In an aging society, the comfort of the user and the peace of mind of the family are important to households and nursing homes.
Japanese adult diapers are the best choice for homes and nursing homes that value user comfort and family peace of mind.

Yes, Japanese diaper manufacturers are among the best in the world!
It is one of Japan’s proudest industries!

But we don’t want to wear adult diapers today.

We even consider wearing diapers a humiliation in itself.

We have world-class quality diapers.
Despite the fact that we have access to the world’s top quality diapers
How do we fill the “gap” of not being able to truly rejoice in our diapers?
How can we fill this gap?

The answer is “design.

Of course, “design” as product planning,
Here, it is “design” as an attitude.

We design diapers all over Japan.

Fashion designer Kage Hirabayashi, of course,
domestic diaper manufacturers, excretion-related healthcare companies,
medical professionals, nursing care workers, apparel makers including lingerie, researchers, universities, vocational schools, etc,
researchers, universities, vocational schools, etc.
We will bring together the wisdom and technology of all of Japan to create a new standard for diapers.

The first step toward this goal is next year’s Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025.
The “O-MU-TSU Project” that we applied for at the end of last year
We have received an unofficial offer from Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025.

From Japan, a country with advanced issues, where the super-aging society is progressing ahead of the rest of the world
We will propose to the world a new way of diapering and a new way of society through the Expo.
We will propose to the world a new way of diapering and a new way of society through the Expo. And we will ask questions.

At this year’s Regional Medical Design Forum,
All the board members of “O-MU-TSU Project” will participate in this forum.
We will share with you the issues related to diapers today,
and to draw the diapers of the future together.

Your ideas and challenges may surprise the world and
may surprise the world or lead to protecting the dignity of many people.
or to protect the dignity of many people.

We will publish an archive of the event at a later date.
But you can only share your thoughts and ideas by participating on the day of the event!
Thanks to the generosity of the speakers, there is a special free registration fee for this year’s event!
