『Enriching travel in a society with lifts』
Traveling is a joy for many people. However, for those with disabilities, toilet facilities at travel destinations remain a significant challenge.
“If there were restrooms that could be used with peace of mind no matter where you go, people could travel more freely.”
This project was born from such voices. We have created a space at Kansai International Airport equipped with a care lift and an electric bed, enabling diaper changes. This represents a new possibility for expanding mobility.
Individuals who require a care lift while traveling can now realize their journeys alongside family members or caregivers.
Connecting Osaka and the Kansai Expo with the world
At the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, people from all over the world will visit Japan. Among them are people who need a lift for nursing care when they are away from home. By installing a lift for nursing care and an electric bed at Kansai International Airport, we will create an environment where people who need a lift can change their diapers.

『Use of Care Lifts』
Advance reservations are required to use the lift at Kansai International Airport.
If you wish to use the nursing care lift at Kansai International Airport, please confirm the following information and fill out the necessary details.
・The nursing care lift is available for use from June 19 to 30.
・Advance reservations are required.
・Please be sure to bring your own sling sheet.
・The lift cannot be used when specialized staff are not present.
• In the event of any accidents or issues, the organizers shall not be held liable. Use of the lift is entirely at your own risk, so please be aware of this in advance.
